Last edited: Sep 13, But what if you want to keep from colluseum? Spend at least 50 tries trying to catch Mewtwo with Ultra Balls and if it doesn't work then use Master Ball. That is, Legendary Pokemon. Since you only get one Master Ball, it's entirely your choice which of them you'd use it on. Like the other Legendaries, it'll be battled before you have a chance to catch it. Moltres not your type? Considering capturing Zapdos with your Master Ball instead. Enter the Power Plant and navigate your way through the building, and hopefully encounter this rare creature.

You'll have to battle it, just like Articuno, before you have the chance to make the catch attempt. To find it, solve the frustrating and confusing Seafoam Islands puzzle and make your way to its den. Like the others, you'll have to battle it. One great thing about Articuno is that it looks the most beautiful following behind your character if you let it out of its Poke Ball. Each of the Legendary Birds is a great choice against different members of the Elite Four, but Articuno will be great for taking down Lance's Dragonite.

The classic, most original, and probably most frequent use for a Master Ball: Mewtwo. This ultra-powerful Legendary Pokemon seems to be exactly what the Master Ball was made for. Mewtwo and the Master Ball are both purple, and the ball itself has a large M on the front. This stands for Master Ball, obviously, but fans are quick to acknowledge how fitting the ball is for Mewtwo. Find Mewtwo deep in Cerulean Cave, where it will challenge you to an intense battle. After you catch it, Green will show up and give you Mewtwo's two Mega Stones.

Sure, there's only one Mewtwo, but it's guaranteed to show up in that same spot every time. Shiny Pokemon are not guaranteed. PS4: AlistairCreedy. No, and I just remembered that there is also Groudon. Latios probably doesn't need a master ball anyway, I caught Entei and Raikou with quick balls. User Info: Pinkemon. I wouldn't use it on Mewtwo OR the birds. Mostly becuase they aren't much of a threat IIRC, Mewtwo pretty much comes with three non-attacking moves and freakin' Psycho cut.

XD and aren't that hard to get to the red while paralyzed. Most of them also appear in caves, which means that they are easier to catch with a Dusk ball. But that's just me. Official Flonne of the Disgaea 4 Board!

Of course, other than it being more of a threat to my team, there was also the fact that I wanted to reset it easily for a good nature. But, yeah. Like I said, Mewtwo and the birds should be easy enough without the Master ball, although it''s still luck based, obviously. I caught Mewtwo after two Dusk balls.

Moltres after thirty. The Power Plant is located east of Route You can use the Sea Skim secret technique to get to the Power Plant. Simply make your way through its labyrinth of connected rooms until you encounter Zapdos in a large open area surrounded by sparking generators.

Zapdos is level You only have five minutes to defeat Zapdos, though. After you defeat Zapdos, the normal catch sequence commences. We suggest lobbing a berry or two at it before trying to use an Ultra Ball. It only took us two Ultra Balls to secure Zapdos. The fire bird is located in Victory Road, which takes you to the Elite Four. Near her is a large stone that must be pushed out of the way to get to a ladder.
